DORNIER machines and systems are manufactured entirely in Germany. In addition to the main plant in Lindau, there is another production facility in Esseratsweiler near Achberg. Lindau on Lake Constance
DORNIER is expressly committed to Germany as a production location. Regular investments in the latest machinery and equipment and a continuously large number of trainees are proof of this. Several new buildings for production, logistics and customer trials have also recently been built in Lindau and Esseratsweiler.

Film stretching lines and drying systems have been manufactured and assembled at the production site in Esseratsweiler since 1980. A technical center for the Composite Systems® division was built there in 2015.

DORNIER weaving machines have been well known in India for long time. In December 2000, the company opened its own local sales office. After initial successes, the subsidiary DORNIER Machinery India Pvt. Ltd. was founded in August 2005 and currently employs 17 people.
