All DORNIER machines and systems are made entirely in Germany. Besides the main factory in Lindau, there is one other production facility in Esseratsweiler, just outside of Lindau. With wholly owned subsidiaries in the US, China, India and Turkey, DORNIER is your direct contact in the key markets.
Lindau on Lake Constance. Regular investments in the latest machinery and equipment and consistently high numbers of trainees attest to this. Very recently, several new buildings have been built in Lindau and Esseratsweiler for production, logistics and customer tests.
Since 1980, the production facility in Esseratsweiler has been home to the foil stretching systems and industrial dryers. In 2015, a technical center was set up there for the Composite Systems® division.
The American DORNIER Machinery Corporation is the first address for customers in the American territory. Sales and marketing, commissioning and employee training activities as well as services for weaving machines and the clip service for foil stretching systems are directed from here.
Shanghai, China Lindauer DORNIER GmbH has maintained a branch office in Shanghai since 2003 to enable it to service the East Asian market as effectively as possible. Technical professionals from the area ensure a high quality level in sales and marketing as well as spare parts, training and consulting services.
Our branch office in Turkey was opened in 2007 to further improve contact with this important market. The comprehensive service from purchase to spare parts is covered entirely by the experienced workforce in the country.
DORNIER weaving machines have been well known in India for many years. In December 2000, the company opened its own local sales office. On the basis of rapid successes, the subsidiary company DORNIER Machinery India Pvt. Ltd. was founded in August 2005 and currently employs 17 people.
