The PROTOS® TW tape weaving machine features all the advantages of the P2 rapier weaving machine platform in terms of ergonomics and operating concept.
Zero Twist (ZT) weft insertion
The weft material of up to 25 mm width is inserted without twist – and with two freely programmable weft channels.
Integrated fabric fixation
With the integrated fabric fixation system, meltable warp and weft tapes can be thermally bonded together in the weaving process. This simplifies downstream processes.
Protected electronics
The electronic components of the machine are protected against carbon fiber contamination. This ensures fault-free operation.
High productivity
The high machine speed combined with a weft material width of up to 25 mm allow high productivity.
