Less wearing parts and easy recognition of maintenance intervals of the clip chain
Simple chain wear detection thanks to the new contactless measurement of chain elongation from DORNIER.
The chain elongation is determined based on the position of the inlet head, without friction between moving parts. The chain can be used within the permitted elongation range.
By permanently monitoring the elongation, the exact service life of the chain can be determined and perfectly utilised before it has to be sent to the clip workshop for overhaul.
