Lindauer DORNIER GmbH welcomes new trainees and dual students
Lindauer DORNIER GmbH is pleased to welcome a total of 27 new trainees and dual students for the start of their training. Providing training for young people and fostering the next generation of skilled workers in the region is particularly important to the family-owned company from Lindau. Thus, among the technical and commercial DORNIER trainees and dual students, there are also six external apprentices who are completing their basic metalworking training at DORNIER.
This basic training will also take place in a new training centre from spring 2025. Equipped with state-of-the-art machines, tools and workbenches, more than 75 trainees and dual students will be able to learn turning, milling, grinding and how to use control, electrical and robot technology in an area of over 1,000 m². They will be mentored by highly qualified trainers who will support them in their professional and personal development. The centre will also have its own CAD workroom.
But first of all, the focus for the career starters will be on getting to know each other. Practical exercises with outdoor trainer and social coach Gerd Schlotterbek are not only intended to strengthen team spirit, but also to ensure a pleasant start to the training. ‘The first day of training marks the start of a professional future, which is why it is important to us that the trainees and students get the best possible start to their training. We look forward to accompanying these young men and women on their future path’ says Martin Kaeß, Technical Training Manager at DORNIER.
