New melt filter insert from DORNIER improves melt filtration
The optimised melt filter increases filter service life by approx. 20 % and the throughput by approx. 5 %.
DORNIER presents an optimised melt filter insert that significantly improves melt filtration. The new insert increases the service life of the filter by approx. 20 % and at the same time enables approx. 5 % more throughput with the same filter size. It also has fewer dead spaces in which the melt can remain, is easier to clean and has a very low melt pressure loss. All these improvements lead to a longer operating time and significantly higher productivity of the film stretching line.
